Sheffield Youth Council was set up in 2008 by young people and Chilypep to give young people in Sheffield a say in what happens in the city.  Young people have views and ideas about how to make things better and are willing to get involved if they are given the chance.

We believe that every young person has the right to have their say and get involved, and should not be discriminated against no matter what, as long as they don’t take other peoples rights away themselves!  Here are some current members of SYC.
